Artie E. Long, 89, of West Fork, passed away Saturday, December 21, 2019 at her home.  She was born August 5, 1930 in Westville, OK to Alton C. and Linnie Parrish Beard.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William W. Long, Sr; three brothers; four sisters; and one grandchild, Tony.

Artie worked at Campbell-Bell/Lewis Brothers for 30 years in the gift wrap and gift department.  She loved decorating and making flower arrangements for the church.  No one could make cinnamon rolls like her.  Artie was a member of Hyland Park Assembly of God Church (formerly Central Assembly) since 1955.

She is survived by a son, Walter Long and wife, Cresa of Winslow; a daughter, Patricia Standifer and husband, Larry of West Fork; a daughter, Pamela Thaler of West Fork;  a sister, Dora Lagaly; a brother, Jim Beard; grandchildren, Patrick, Chrissie, Tonya, Angie, Rebecca, Jennifer, Jessica, Sarah, Kendra, Taylor, Kateasha and Will; 19 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Artie loved visiting the nursing homes and serving in the church.  She was devoted to God, praying until the end.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 PM Sunday, December 29, 2019 at Beard’s Chapel.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday, December 30, 2019 at Hyland Park Assembly of God Church with Pastors Dean Jones and Brad Redding officiating.  Interment will follow in the West Fork Cemetery under the direction of Beard’s Chapel.
