Barbara Janel Hawkins, 42 of Fayetteville, departed this life May 12, 2012 to be welcomed to her heavenly home by her lord Jesus. Barbara was born, April 12, 1970 in Little Rock, Arkansas.
She was a loving wife and mother. Barbara was a member of Westside Freewill Baptist Church in Springdale. She participated in walks for awareness for diabetes and ALS awareness. She loved her church family, spending time with her family and friends, baseball games at Arvest Ballpark and she will be greatly missed.
Survivors include her husband, Jeff Hawkins of the home; daughters, Catie Baker of Batesville, Arkansas and Molly Baker of Fayetteville; her father Gerald Laird of Springdale; mother, Lena Hood of Hindsville; 1 brother, Jerry Hood of Hindsville; grandmother, Erma Worley (100 yrs. old); 4 nephews; 3 nieces and a host of family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 PM, Friday, May 18, 2012 at the Beard’s Funeral Chapel.
Funeral service will follow at 3 PM Pastor Paul Payne officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Beard’s Funeral Chapel.
