Barbara Jean Grant, 72, of Fayetteville, passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2019 in Fayetteville. She was born August 5, 1947 in Manila, Arkansas to Myron Everett and Betty Lee Landers Thomason.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Otho Glenn Grant.
Barbara was a homemaker. She enjoyed the casino, watching old movies, playing cards and listening to country music. She loved her grandchildren.
She is survived by three sons, David, Daniel and Michael Grant, all of Fayetteville; a daughter, Debbie Combs of Fayetteville; two brothers, Ernie Thomason of Greenland, Arkansas and Everett Thomason of Missouri; two sisters, Kathy Mounce of Lowell, Arkansas and Linda Worford of Greenland, Arkansas; 2 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, December 6, 2019 at Beard’s Chapel with Pastor Don Warford officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until service-time at the funeral home on Friday.

Growing up around Barbara was great, she was a great person to be around. I’m a younger cousin who grew up with her kids. She will be missed by all.
