Betty “Nana” Jean Lambert, 84, of Fayetteville, AR, passed away on September 26, 2023 in Fayetteville, AR. She was a believer of Christ.

Memorial services will be held 10:00am, Saturday, September 30, 2023 at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville, AR. Brother Gary Crawford of Red Oak Baptist Church, officiating.

Betty Jean Lambert was born in Monmouth, Illinois to Wallace and Dorothy Knapp on April 26, 1939.  She married Bobby Frank Lambert on January 30, 1958 in Dallas, Texas. She was a homemaker and worked various jobs. She retired from Emerson Electric in 1999. She was involved in the Local Moose Lodge and Springdale Senior Center. She was a member of Red Oak Baptist Church in Harrison, AR.

Betty Jean is preceded in death by her husband Bobby Frank Lambert; parents Wallace and Dorothy Knapp; brothers Jerry Knapp, Jack Knapp, Larry Knapp and Johnny Knapp; and sister JoAnn Thomas.

Betty Jean is survived by her daughters Evelyn LaRue Payne of Harrison, AR, Tonya Annette Lopez of Fayetteville, AR and Amy Lynn Edwards of Harrison, AR; grandchildren, Trenton Payne, Tanner Edwards, Noah Lopez, Addison Edwards, and Luke Lopez; and great-grandson Dash Payne.

Cremation arrangements by Beard’s Funeral Chapel.

    So so sad to hear about your mom , I have often wondered about her and where she lived . I Had lots of great memories of a very good friend, spent many Friday and Saturday nights with her in Branson . She was a very sweet lady, I will always Remember that calm personality.
