Betty Sue Box, 85, of Farmington, AR passed in peace on March 2, 2019. She was born April 5, 1933 to Luther Augustus Knight and Emma Mae Henderson Knight.
Preceded in death by her husband Lloyd Box.
Survived by her brothers, LA Knight of Oxford, MS and Ron P. Knight of Plano, TX; her two sons, Paul B. Knight of Spartanburg, SC and Richard Steve Austin of Fayetteville, AR; and her granddaughter, Jessica Austin of Delray Beach, FL.
Betty graduated from Clarendon High School in 1951. She was a nurse/medical technician. She remained active in her church until her latter years. Her passion was gardening and took pride in her garden at home.
Graveside services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Shady Grove Cemetery in Clarendon, AR under the direction of Beard’s Chapel.
There is no scheduled visitation.
In lieu of flowers, she would have wanted donations to be made to the Mayo Clinic, philanthropy.mayoclinic.org
So sorry to hear of Betty Sue’s passing. She worked in my dad’s drugstore in Clarendon in the late 40s- early 50s. Such a great family in those great days in Clarendon, and my best friend was her brother, Ron, who was in my grade the first 3 years. Remember seeing her many times at their house in Clarendon. She is resting in peace now and at the right hand of God our Father.
