Bill (Bud) Ray Stonesifer, 65, of Farmington, died suddenly at Washington Regional Medical Center on January 19, 2019.  Bill was born to Ray and Marjorie Stonesifer on November 5, 1953 in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

He made many friends during his life and he cherished all of those friendships.

Bill loved being outdoors.  One of his greatest joys was being able to go to the family farm with his dog Petie and work on his project list.  Later, when the grandsons shared his passion, he loved mentoring them on his farm projects and farm repairs.  He loved his family and was a wonderful and loving son, brother, husband, father and PaPa.  Bill will be greatly missed by his family.

He is survived by his mother, Marjorie; his wife, Janice of 26 years; two daughters, Tracy Sargent and Lauren (Matt) Irwin; his three grandsons, Hunter Sargent and Noah and Kaleb Irwin; his three sisters, Donna (Gilbert) Bloyed, Patricia Cater and Betty Stonesifer; 3 nieces; 1 nephew; and great-nieces, nephew and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Beard’s Chapel.

The family wishes to thank the physicians and staff at Washington Regional Medical Center involved with Bill’s care for their support and care.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ridgeview Baptist Church, 1850 E. Huntsville Rd, Fayetteville, AR 72701 or the Arkansas State Veterans Home at Fayetteville, 1179 N. College Ave, Fayetteville, AR 72701.

What can I say? Bud was a friend, brother inlaw, buddy, and do much more. We have done so many things together, some probably not too wise. We talked so often and I always felt better in a way I can’t put into words. He and I were more like brothers than friends. I’ll miss him too much to say, but know he is on Gods hands, no more pain, no more suffering and I know we’ll see each other again. Til then I’ll say so long until we meet in A BETTER PLACE!.

Sincere condolences to all of your family on the loss of your dear loved one. I did not know Bud personally, but knew how special a man, brother and son he was through his loving sister, and my dear friend, Donna Bloyed. May the presence of God’s Holy Spirit be with you all during the coming days, and bring you comfort and peace through the promises of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

What can I say? Bud was more than a friend, more like a brother. Bud has been a part of my life since we met in 1969. We have worked together, had fun together, did some things probably not too wise. There will be a void now. We talked so much and I always felt good afterwards. Will miss him too much to say. I feel good now knowing no more pain and suffering. In Gods hands now. Sometime, God only knows when, we’ll meet in a better place. Til then, see you soon!

Bud has been in my families’ life for his entire 65 years, and in Jan’s life for more than 25 years. For Jan, his amazing wife, we pray for her as she walks now without him. Bud had a hard exterior, but was mush inside as captured in pictures with his grandkids.
He loved the outdoors and seemed never happier than on his tractor mowing grass or in his truck with Petie, his ever-present dog. We loved Bud and hold tight to the good memories.
