Billy Mack Jones, 69, of Fayetteville, passed away Saturday, July 14, 2018 at his home.  He was born April 1, 1949 in Fayetteville to William Earl and Geraldine (Jerry) Trowbridge Jones.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, McKallen Mac Jones; and a nephew, Kelly Stacy.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served on the U.S.S. Franklin D. Roosevelt.  Billy Mack worked at SWEPCO; also worked in the oil fields in Louisiana and retired from the V.A. Hospital in Fayetteville.

Billy Mack was very charismatic and charming; had a wicked sense of humor and could always make someone laugh.  In his younger years, he cut quite a dashing figure.  He loved fast and sporty cars.  He was very giving towards his grandkids and was thrilled to have a great-grandson born this year.

He is survived by his daughters, Tracee Daniels and Emily Phillips; a son, William (Billy) Jones; a sister, Karen Stacy and husband, Gary; grandchildren, Nea Jones, Colten Peterson and Kinslee Daniels; a great-grandson, Vedder Mac Steinsiek; a nephew, Travis Stacy; a great-nephew, Garrett Stacy; and a niece-in-law, Laura Stacy.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, July 20, 2018 at the Fayetteville National Cemetery will military honors.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to help with service expenses.
