Billy Stilwell, 56, of Fayetteville, AR died October 14, 2022 in Oklahoma City, OK. He was born September 10, 1966 in Stilwell, OK to Bill and Joyce Steele Stilwell.
Billy was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He was a truck driver for Mule Train Trucking. He was an avid Razorback fan. He enjoyed going camping, fishing, music festivals, spending quality time with his family and traveling with his wife Sharon.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Billy is survived by his wife, Sharon Osburn Stilwell; one daughter, Jennifer Kaminski of Fayetteville; and one son Matt Gaines of Fayetteville; three brothers, Randy and Tony Moss, both of Tulsa, OK and Robert Stilwell of Springdale; 4 grandchildren, Alexis (Cody), Jorden, Ty and Allyson; 7 great-grandchildren, Lexi, Carter, Carmen, Cas, Ryan, Ainsley and Charlie; and many nieces, nephews, coworkers and friends.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, October 21, 2022 at Beard’s Funeral Chapel with Ronnie Gaines officiating.
Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Thursday, October 20, 2022 at Beard’s Funeral Chapel.
Private interment will be at a later date.
I first met Billy as a manager at the Ezmart in West Fork. I am a retired Military and Police Officer veteran. Billy went on to becoming a tow truck driver and he had provided many of tows while serving as a Police Officer in Greenland and West Fork. Billy was a devoted family man who loved his Family and Community. The idea is not to live forever but create something that will.
