“Bo” Anthony Rota, 49, of Kansas, OK, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2026 in Bentonville. He was born July 15, 1976 in Voorhees, New Jersey to Anthony “Tony” and Darlene Reed Rota.

He was preceded in death by his mother Darlene Rota.

Bo was an aircraft mechanic for Envoy Airline part of the Local 576 TWU Union. He loved cats, watching horror movies, and he loved his job. Bo enjoyed riding motorcycles, guns, fishing, and playing video games. He loved taking road trips with Alicia to science fiction destinations. Bo had a special place for Julianna, Alicia’s daughter.

His sister Toni said that he got the name “Bo” because she couldn’t say “brother”…so it just came out as “Bo”.

He is survived by his father Tony Rota and his wife Eileen of Winslow; his partner Alicia Roberts; sister Toni Rota and husband Chris Cline of Winslow; brother John Rota and wife Heather of Springdale; sister Debbie Ellis and husband Ryan of Barling; and sister Mary Rota and her partner Eli Johnson of Murray.

Numerous nieces and nephews: Toni’s children, Keith, Chase (his son Bo), and Carl; John’s children, J.J. (his son Tony), Lai Layah and her husband Richard Morse (and their children Dean, Ella, and Maddie), and Gavin (his son Payton); Debbie’s children, Aaron, Ethan, Roman, and Shane; and Mary’s daughter, Sagen.

A celebration of life service will be held from 5-7 PM Thursday, June 4, 2026 at Our Lady of the Ozarks Shrine in Winslow.

Private family burial will take place at a later date.

      We’re going to miss talking to you every Saturday, we loved that you vented to us because you didn’t wanted an extra exotic animal in your house and you would complain and gripe acting all tough, but we all know you were just a big softy with your girlfriend and always end up getting that extra animal in your house. We love you Bo rota.

    I worked with Bo for many years on envoy aircraft. Bo and Cliff Randall were closer than brothers. Bo had a mischievous streak that always kept us laughing. He loved his guns cats motorcycles and his better half. He will be missed. We had lots of good times working together

    Bo was a hell of a man. I never had a cross word with him in the 19 years I worked with him which is rare in in our industry. He cared very much about his family and friends and was a absolute pleasure to know and work with him. He will be missed very very much.
