Brenda Fay Hicks, 68, of Patrick, passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2026 in Springdale. She was born January 10, 1958 in Ardmore, OK to Ben Charles and Nancy Heartsill Mathis.

She was preceded in death by her father Ben Charles Mathis; two sons, Steven Allen Hicks and Samuel Scott Hicks; a sister Sandra Kay Nunnelee and her husband Dale; and a brother Charles Anthony Mathis.

Brenda is survived by a son Ben Hicks and wife Hailee; a granddaughter Cooper Morgan Hicks; her mother Nancy Sue Peoples; niece Destiny Ketcher and husband Michael; great-niece Wren Ketcher; niece Charli Jade Higdon and husband Terrence Daniel Higdon; great-nephews, Terrence Daniel Higdon Jr and Roscoe Charles Higdon; great-niece Iris Jade Higdon; nephew Richard Charles Nunnelee and wife Connie; great-nephew Noah Nunnelee; and great-nieces, Addison and Aubrey Nunnelee.
