Although I have only known Cara a short time while we worked at University Police I am glad to have met her. She was a good person with a big heart. I enjoyed the short time that I knew her and am sadden that her time on earth was cut so short but know that she is in a better place. My prayers and thoughts are with the family during this time.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I ran into Cara a few months ago and she was as great as ever! It had been awhile since we had seen one another. As we talked about what life has brought our way; she reminded me of the fun times we all had in high school. She will be missed.

I am so sorry for the loss of your child! I have walked in your shoes, my son was 15 when he went to be with God. I worked with Cara for a year at WCSO. Cara was a wonderful and carefree person. She was always laughing and there was always a smile on her face. I was so surprised that she had passed. Please accept my heartfelt condolence not only as a parent but also as a friend of Cara’s. Her smile will truly be missed.

    Carla and Family,
Ashley and I just found out about Cara’s passing this morning. We are so sorry for your loss. Although the girls haven’t spent time together in many years, the first thing Ashley said when she read the obituary was that she remembers Cara’s beautiful laugh. We have wonderful memories and pictures with Cara during our short time in West Fork. Pictures of them playing dress-up at our house, birthday parties at Chuck E. Cheeses, field trips to Battle Field Park and the Animal Safari in Gentry, Kindergarten Graduation, Softball and so many more. Cara was such a beautiful, sweet little girl and she grew into an amazing woman. My words are not adequate to express the sorrow I feel for your loss. Every bit of my heart goes out to you during this most difficult time.

My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family in this time of such a tragic loss. Cara was one of the greatest people I have, or will ever have the pleasure of knowing. Take comfort in knowing she is in Gods arms now, and an angel of the Lords, just as she was an angel here to all who’s lives she entered, by just knowing her she made all those she met lives fuller and richer. My deepest sympathies, and my thoughts and prayers go out to you, and your family in this time of such a great loss.

    Sam and Carla:
I was going through Beard’s website looking for an obituary for someone else and was scrolling down when I came across your daughter’s obituary. I am so sorry for your loss. It is so difficult for parents to go through the death of their children. Also, please express my sympathy to both sets of your parents. God bless you, Phil Misenheimer.
