Carl R. Underhill, 83, of West Fork, passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2018 in Fayetteville.   He was born July 25, 1935 in West Fork to William and Edith Putnum Underhill.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jack Underhill.

Carl was a veteran of the US Army.  He had 20 years of numerous business adventures followed by 20 years work and retirement from Campbell Soup Company.  He was a very active father to his five children and coached several sports teams, volunteered in Booster Clubs and never missed a sideline.  He adored his grandchildren and supported their every endeavor.  Carl was a loyal friend to many and always enjoyed a heated political conversation.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Kathy Underhill of the home; daughter, Pam Rosenthal (Dan) of Carbondale, CO and their children, Sarah and Carly; daughter, Debbie Werner (Tom) of Plymouth, WI and their children, Andrea, Madeline and Gregory; son, Carl Underhill (Andrea) of West Fork and children, Amanda and Corey; son, Glen Underhill of Glenwood Springs, CO and his children, Reece, Sam and Elise; daughter, Kim Linden (Jeff) of Rockford, IL and their children, Cooper and Ian; a great-granddaughter, Madison; and 3 brothers, Ralph, William and Glen Underhill and their families.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Beard’s Chapel with Pastor Ervin Hutchens officiating.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until service-time at Beard’s Chapel on Saturday, December 1, 2018.

Interment will follow in Baptist Ford Cemetery with military honors.

Hope you will be comforted in knowing that Carl has the prospect of being resurrected, healthy (in the flesh), to Paradise Earth just as Jehovah God has promised. In fact , the vast majority will enjoy everlasting life right here on earth as God had intended from the beginning. God’s Kingdom will do this under the rule of Jesus Christ.
