Carrie Lynn Black, 63, of Ft. Smith died January 22, 2021 at Baptist Hospital in Ft Smith. She was born October 14, 1957 in Fayetteville to Fred and Mary Craig Drain.

Carrie was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Panama, Oklahoma. She retired from Hickory Springs Manufacturing Co. and enjoyed quilt making for her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son Roy Eugene Black and one brother.

She is survived by her fiancée David Risinger; son, Donavon Black of Ft Smith; two daughters, Deanna Landis and husband William of Paris and Marian Jones of Ft Smith; brother, William “Butch” Drain and wife Carla of Tahlequah, OK; and four sisters, Patsy Call and husband Carl of Bokoshe, OK, Shirley Drain, Lula Ridgway and husband Johnny and Barbara Blair all of Fayetteville; 13 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Woolsey Cemetery with Bro. Steve Curtis officiating.

Visitation will be Monday, January 25, 2021 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Beard’s Funeral Chapel.
