A beloved husband, father and friend, Andy was a faithful servant of Christ and dedicated his life to sharing the love of Jesus. His unwavering devotion to church ministry throughout his life was evident in the countless lives he touched through teaching, mentoring and service. Whether leading Bible studies, Sunday School classes, volunteering at church events, or offering a listening ear and a kind word, Andy embodied the heart of a true disciple. Andy had a great sense of humor that brightened the lives of those around him. He loved making others laugh with his quick wit and playful spirit. He loved the outdoors and found joy in fishing, camping, and hiking – finding peace in the beauty of God’s creation. His gift of puppetry delighted audiences of all ages, as he brought stories to life with creativity, laughter, and heart. Andy will be deeply missed, but we celebrate the life he lived so fully, the faith he shared so generously, and the memories that will remain forever in our hearts.

I know that Andy is with Mike and their cousin Steve and Uncle Johnny seeing who can tell the biggest tale and trying to outdo the other. They all had the same kind of humor. Janet our prayers are with you and all the family now and during the coming days, weeks, and months. I know it hasn’t been easy for you as the caregiver. Take care of yourself and get the rest you deserve.

Many years ago I was privileged to babysit Andy along with brother Mike and sister Susan on evenings when their parents needed to attend to other obligations. It was a valuable experience and taught me much. I’ve had few opportunities to interact with Andy as an adult, but those opportunities were always especially memorable and enjoyable. His entire family, and especially his father, have made a profound impact on my life for which I shall be forever grateful. I pray that every associate and family member will sense a strong and lasting comfort straight from the throne of our Almighty God. Andy would have ordered such.
