Wish we had known this sooner. So sad that a whole generation of family is gone and no one seems to be in touch with each other. Was just thinking about Uncle Chike last night. Want to send his communion certificate that I found in some of Mom’s belongings. Think she probably had it from when Grandma Lumbrezer died. All of our family sends condolenses to all of yours. May the soul of the faithful departed thru the mercy of God rest in peace and may perpetual light shine apon him.

Hi Pam – Glad to hear from you. Just saw your note on the Beard’s Funeral Chapel website. We did not publish in Toledo paper, as we thought we might move ashes from both Mother & Dad to Assumption cemetery in the spring and would publish then – but we have decided to keep their ashes here for now. But it might still be good to publish in Toledo paper. I agree with you about the entire generation being gone – Dad was the last and I was hoping that he might have the longevity that your Mom had, but unfortunately not to be. He went very quickly. I do have contact with Paul David from time to time and occasionally with one of Shirley’s daughters – Diane. But now that Zeno and Shirley are gone, not even much communication there when not checking on brothers and sisters. I would love to have the certificate that you have. Funny where “papers” end up. My email address is celicec@uark.edu if you want to send an email and we could figure out how to get that. Take care – Happy & Blessed Easter!
