Clinton Eugene Nelson Short was born December 10, 1992 in Fayetteville, AR to Thomas Short and Janet Keith. He went home to be with the Lord on October 8, 2024.
He enjoyed several different hobbies that always included his friends and family. He was an avid pool player and competed and won many pool tournaments. Until hurting his back in his early twenties, he would compete at riding bulls at the rodeo. He then took on the challenge of mentoring younger children at bullriding. It warmed his heart to see them succeed at the sport.
Clinton just recently attended NTI in Springdale, AR and proudly achieved his goal to obtain his Class A CDL! His plans were to go to work for a short-haul company to gain some experience in the field of trucking. From there, to go on and become an owner/operator and work alongside his momma that he admired and loved so much!
He had a huge loving heart and was always willing to help and put others before himself (all the while loving and cheering them on to succeed!).
Clinton was currently employed as a supervisor for Lane X and had held that job since 2022.
He currently attended church at Mercy & Grace Cathedral in Springdale, AR. His faith was strong and he had a firm belief in his Lord and Saviour. His family and friends take comfort in witnessing that he had just recently been saved and now rests in the arms of the Lord!
Clinton is survived by his momma Janet Keith; girlfriend Allie Wofford; his four brothers, Kevin Keith, Justin Short, Colton Keith, and Marcus Keith; and his nephew whom he adored, Brentley Short.
He was preceded in death by his dad, Thomas Short and his own son, Clinton Thomas Short, Jr. Clinton will be terribly missed by his best friends Eric Landelius and Colton Alvarado as well as many other friends and family members.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, October 18, 2024 at Beard’s Chapel with Pastor Euel Bilderback officiating. Interment will follow in McCord Cemetery in Elkins.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until service-time on Friday at the funeral home.
