Clotho Wenoah GoodsonJune 24, 1960 – December 10, 2025Clotho Wenoah Goodson, 65, of Farmington, AR passed away surrounded by loved ones on December 10, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born June 24, 1960, in Amarillo, Texas to parents Joyce Wanda Powell-Moody and Tommy Goodson.Above all else, Wenoah was a devoted mother and grandmother. Her greatest pride and deepest joy was her family and everything in her life flowed from that calling. She was a loving nurturer, known for opening her heart and home to all. She made those around her feel cared for, protected, and most often put others before herself. Her love was steady, selfless, and unwavering.
Wenoah devoted more than 30 years of service to the University of Arkansas, where she worked as the Surplus Warehouse Manager. She was an avid gardener and a passionate music lover, most often found tending to the flowers in her backyard with cherished rock music filling the air. Her lifelong love for animals brought many pets into her home. She had special affection for fosters and strays and was always willing to help any animal in need.
She is survived by her daughter, Stella Joy Goodson and son-in-law Brady Beaver; brother, Bruce Wilks and wife Lindy; niece, Sarah Bauers and husband Ian; cousin, Linda Myers and husband Michael; and grandchildren, Rylan Goodson, Alicia Hernandez, Eleyna Hernandez, and Selena Hernandez.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers; Jackie Keith Wilks, Lynn Wilks, and Michael Wilks.
Wenoah was a shoulder to cry on, a steady voice of reason, someone you laughed with, and a comforting hand to hold during life’s greatest storms. Her passing leaves an immeasurable emptiness, and she will be deeply missed.

A more devoted steadfast colleague at the UofA does not exist. I am a better person for knowing Wenoah. Condolences to all those who who mourn the loss.
Had so many working years with Wenoah! Not sure we even got to meet in person, just over the phone mostly but I send my thoughts and prayers to the family
I worked with Wenoah her entire tenure at the UA – whether it be in the same department or in my jobs that dealt with her office. I always enjoyed our interactions because we always ended up laughing about something. She always met me with a smile and a hug and and it was always pleasant dealing with her. She was one of a kind and I will miss her. Condolences to her family.
Sending my sincere sympathies to Wenoah’s family and friends, her U of A colleagues and others who, like me, learned from her and appreciated her knowledge and dedication.
