I grew up with Mitchell daughters and I’m so heartbroken to hear the news. He was such a good dad and loved his girls so much. I really am heartbroken he won’t meet his new grandbaby. Life is really unfair. I’m so sorry for the families loss. He was a great man.

I am so sorry for your loss. This is heartbreaking. Mitch “Doc” Day was a friend of almost forty years. I am forever grateful for the good times we had, and for being there for each other when times weren’t so good. I feel like I’ve lost a brother. I send prayers of comfort for everyone.

I went to school with Mitchell. Some of my fondest memories of him are of us playing football and baseball in my backyard. He always was quick to smile. I am gonna miss it. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
