Cochise “Cole” William Criddle, 48, of Elkins, AR, passed away on April 16, 2026. He was born on January 12, 1978.

Cole was a man known for his strong work ethic and deep love for his family. He spent his life working hard, never afraid of long days or tough jobs, and carried a quiet strength that earned the respect of all who knew him. Whether working outdoors, lending a helping hand, or spending time with those he loved, Cole lived a life marked by dedication and perseverance. One thing that could never be said about him was that he was lazy-he gave his all until he simply couldn’t anymore.

He is survived by father, Joey Criddle of Elkins, AR; and his mother, Tammy Coats Vige of Ecru, MS.

He is also survived by his sisters: Candace LaShea Ellis (Brian) of Big Creek, MS; Lisa Taylor (Kurt) of Calhoun City, MS; Kayla West (Joseph) of Pontotoc, MS; and Bethany White (Tristan) of Grants Pass, OR; and his brother, Quay Criddle (Melissa) of Shannon, MS; and many nieces and nephews.

Cole leaves behind his beloved daughters, Katey Williams (Detread) of Meridian, MS, and Emilee Criddle of Milton, FL. He was a proud grandfather to Aaden, Sarenidy, and Maurice Williams of Meridian, MS.

He was preceded in death by his nieces, Chloe and Caitlin Criddle; his mother, Connie Goodson of Calhoun City, MS; and his grandparents, William Oscar “George” Criddle of Sparta, MS, Eloweese Morgan, and Malcolm and Sue Coats of Randolph, MS.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 24, 2026 at 3:00 PM at Crosses Creek Cemetery in Elkins, AR.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 26, 2026 at the Brewer Community Center in Shannon, MS.

Cole will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of hard work, love, and resilience will live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
