Connie Jan O’Neal, 67 of Elkins died June 2, 2012 at her home.
She was born November 10, 1944 in Fayetteville to Clarence and Dorothy Spencer.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Ricky and sister, Betty Wheeler.
Survivors include her husband, Dwight O’Neal of the home; son, Brian O’Neal and wife Tracy of Elkins; 2 daughters, Jan Johnson of Spearsville, Louisiana , Sandra Shadrick and husband Curtis of Elkins; 6 grandchildren, Jessica Jett and husband Bo and Derek Gardner both of Spearsville, Louisiana, Sammie King and husband John, Brad Baker and Becca, Khloie O’Neal and Chace O’Neal all of Elkins; great grandchildren, Cale Jett of Spearsville, Louisiana, Preston O’Neal and Paisley King both of Elkins and Many other family members and friends.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 5, 2012 from 5 to 7 PM at the funeral home.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at Beards Funeral Chapel.
Burial will be at the Mount Olive Cemetery in Elkins.
Sad to here of Connie’s passing, we met Connie, Dwight, and Brian several years ago while helping care for Connie’s mother, Dorothy at the City Hospital, I think we even did some car trading.enjoyed our visits out on the porch, she sure did light up the room, and was a real joy to be around. prayers to the family
