Coralee Stowers, formally known by Coralee Hatch and Johnson, deceased October 24, 2024 in her home in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was born August 25, 1942 in Bixby, Oklahoma.
Coralee was preceded in death by her parents, Thurman Hatch and Elinor Hatch of Elkins; and one brother Joel Keith Hatch of Conway.
Coralee is survived by six siblings, Jennifer Capwell, Thurman Hatch, Naomi Whalin, Rebecca Hattabaugh, Ivella Wade, and Tim Hatch; and two children, Rhonda Hoffman and David Stowers.
Coralee was a trailblazer for women in the trucking industry. She drove for Tyson, Riggins and she even drove an asphalt truck. She was a very determined woman. She loved her plants and flowers and won many blue ribbons at the fair with her arrangements and paintings. She loved animals and nature. She spent many years showing dogs (and did pretty well at it!). She was very competitive in games. She loved life and family. To her there was nothing better than a Sunday afternoon playing games with family.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday afternoon on the 23rd of November 2024 at 2:00pm at First Baptist Church of Wedington Woods, 15325 Red Fox Dr. Fayetteville, AR 72704. We will be having potluck (bring a dish and drinks). We will have prayer followed by stories anyone wants to share with the rest of us remembering Corky!
The memory of Corky will live on in each of us! Let us celebrate her!
Cremation arrangements by Beard’s Funeral Chapel.
Those we love can never be more than a thought away; for as long as there’s a memory, they live on in our hearts. My condolences to the families and friends of Corky.
Thank you.
Sending love to David, Heather, Logan, and Anastasia during this difficult time. It’s hard when our loved ones go too soon and please know that her cherished memories will live on in your hearts. Hugs to your family.
Corky’s memory will be with me forever. I loved her and she will always be in my heart.
All my love to David, Heather, Logan, and Anastasia.
My prayers and thoughts will be with each of you during the loss of your sweet mom. I have lots of good memories of your mother.
David and Heather, sorry for you and your family’s loss. Although I only saw Corky once or twice, she sounds like a fun lady. Special prayers for you and the kids. Randall & Ann Carrell
