He was number 1 in every sense of the word. First born, first son, first grandchild, first nephew, first cousin, first step, first cry, first love, first baseball player, first football player, first friend, first mule rider, first animal lover, first person to laugh and to make me laugh and always the first to say I love you.

I loved it when he was born, it was like having a little brother and he was so much fun from that day forward.

I only kew Creig for a short time. From the first time we spoke I knew I had a friend for life. Creig had a laugh that you would never forget and he shared it a lot. We hit it off right away because we both like Horses and hunting. Creig was a friend you could count on all the time, and someone who knew you no matter where you seen him. He was a man’s man. I will miss you my friend, but never forget you.

You all are in my thoughts and prayers. I am so very sorry for your loss and pray you find comfort in the memories and stories shared of Creig. It’s been over twenty years since I last saw Creig, but I have many fond memories of him. As a new home economics teacher, Creig (and others) were the reason I stayed in education. He served as the FHA president and was enrolled in several of my classes — never a dull moment. I wonder whatever happened to the horse blanket he made in Clothing class?!

I don’t even know where to begin other than to say we love you all! Creig made such an impact on our lives. If it weren’t for him, Keith and I wouldn’t be married, I wouldn’t have my boys, and I wouldn’t have have my dearest friends, relationships and more than likely the job I have now. Keith and I both have always loved Creig like a brother. We chose Creig to be Ethan’s God parent which was a true testimate of how we felt and continue to fill about Creig. Only living less than a block away, we saw Creig at least weekly. We loved Creig and the impact he made in our lives. I have no doubt that he is in heaven, with our Father, greeting all of our loved ones passed, with that infectious smile, most likely a joke, and that iconic laugh! I know that our lives are better because Creig was a part of it! We love you and are and will always pray for you, Les, Debbie, Ronda, Chris, Casey, Chance, Alex, McKenzie, Shaila, Tosha Cameron and family. Please keep us close and near to you as we have always been. We love you all!

I am so sorry you are now having to experience the loss and sorrow. I wish I could tell you anything that would bring you comfort, but during this time there is nothing that I can say that will help. Seeing Creig a few months back was so much fun and we had a great time talking about the UAM days. I’ll never forget the time a half dozen of us came home with Creig one weekend from and rode horses at his parents…the horse I was on rubbed me off of it on the corner of the barn.
