Curtis Drummond, 80, of Elkins, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2015 at his home. He was born February 20, 1935 in Bidville, AR., the son of Ira and Mary Drummond.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy, and great-grandaughter, Kayla, both of the home; two sons, David Drummond of Fayetteville and Johnny Drummond of Elkins; one daughter, Glenda Short of Elkins; one brother, Leon Drummond of Elkins; five sisters, Aneta Osburn of Wesley, Kathlene Hughes of Elkins, Brenda Durell, Sue Bates and Judy Lawhorn, all of Wesley; 8 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, October 29, 2015 at Beard’s Chapel with Reverend Ray Shackelford officiating. Interment will follow in the Bidville Cemetery under the direction of Beard’s Chapel.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 P.M. on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at the funeral home.
