Nov 24, 2025

Dallas Michael Cox, 30, of Fayetteville, Arkansas passed away on November 20, 2025, in Farmington, Arkansas. Born on May 3, 1995, in Shattuck, Oklahoma, Dallas brought joy and warmth to those around him throughout his life.

He was the beloved son of Charles Steven and Kathy Lynn Cox, and a cherished brother to Kyle Cox and sister-in-law Kimberlea Cox. He held a special place in the hearts of his niece Sophia Sanchez, nephew Landon Joe Cox, and niece Willow Cox. Dallas also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Merlin and Almarene Cox of Hope, Arkansas and Loy and Wilma Caughman of Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Dallas’s faith was the cornerstone of his life. His relationship with God and his Savior Jesus Christ guided his every step. He was deeply involved in his church community, where he not only worshipped but also volunteered regularly. His church family held a significant place in his heart, and he found great purpose in serving others through ministry and fellowship.

Known for his kindness and servant’s heart, Dallas had a genuine love for people. He found joy in sharing his faith and telling others about Jesus. Over the years, he held many jobs that allowed him to do what he loved most—interact with people and serve them with compassion and sincerity.

A proud fan of the Oklahoma Sooners, Dallas embraced every opportunity to cheer on his favorite team. His enthusiasm for sports however was second to the joy he found in spending time with his family. Whether it was playing with his nieces and nephew or traveling with his parents, these moments were among the most treasured of his life.

Dallas’s legacy is one of faith, love, and service. His gentle spirit touched many lives, leaving behind memories that will continue to inspire those who knew him. May his memory bring comfort to all who loved him.

Visitation will be held Friday evening, November 28, 2025 at Beard’s Funeral Chapel from 5-7pm, 855 S Happy Hollow Road in Fayetteville. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Colonial Baptist Church, 1599 W Olive Street, Rogers, Arkansas with Pastor Ed Pearson officiating. Burial will follow at Baptist Ford Cemetery in Greenland, Arkansas.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to BEST Missions through Colonial Baptist Church.

Dallas will be greatly missed when coming to Colonial Baptist Church. His big smile was always the first thing you would see when you walked into the church. I haven’t known Dallas very long but his loving spirit would always make me feel loved and appreciated. I know that it’s sad for those who are still here but Dallas is rejoicing and praising Jesus as he walks those streets of gold in Heaven with Jesus.

I did not have the honor of meeting Dallas, but knowing his parents, Kathy and Steve, I can honestly say because of their love for people, and most of all our precious Lord, that everything that is said about Dallas is a reflection of his parents. Kathy and Steve, I am so grateful that God allowed us to be friends at Val Verde. “ His mercy endures forever.”

I remember that first Easter with Dallas and Kyle. It was such a wonderful day to be included in, one of many special occasions to come. All the wonderful time spent together with my girls and Kathy’s boys. Dallas was always so helpful and sweet. Always there to take care of anything you might need. And always smiling! I am sad that Dallas is gone from us but I know that he is in Heaven serving anywhere he can because that is what he liked to do, take care of others. My heart goes out to my “Big Sis” and Steve and Kyle and family and to all those he touched and who will miss him terribly. Romans 12:12 ” Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer” Much Love and Praying always!
