I was so saddened to learn of Darlene’s passing. We had lunch together daily at the VA for many years, and shared the joys and pains of our personal lives with each other. She was a sweet, genuine friend. She has left a imprint on many of our lives with her joy for living. May God comfort her family with the knowledge that she is at His side now.

Sorry for your loss. I have fond memories of her and her sister when growing up. Unfortunately, I lost touch with her. I remember her parents very well and her little girl nickname (Peanuts)

Ginger and I are heartbroken to hear of Darlene’s passing away. She was a strong willed, spirit filled and an open-hearted person that touched the lives of so many. It was Darlene’s kindness and invitation to join the community of Our Lady of the Ozarks Shrine that brought us to see God’s light shining upon the goodness of the community of Winslow. Darlene, Tony and their family loved and care for our community and there are just not words to express what they have done for everyone. We will miss her until one day we are called home to be with her in God’s Heavenly Kingdom.
    God’s Blessing upon all,
