David Walls, 55, of Fayetteville, passed away Monday, October 26, 2020. He was born March 28, 1965 in St. Louis, Missouri to Lathan and Ernestine Boxx Walls.
David spent 15 years in Fayetteville after moving from St. Louis. He poured in to this community by working at the Salvation Army, Mama Dean’s Soul Food and for Chartwells feeding the U of A students. David was so loving and gentle.
A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, November 13, 2020 at Beard’s Chapel.

I remember this man that one night coming back from working @ BUTTERFIELD TRAIL VILLAGE/I worked in the kitchen I met. Never met him before or after that…but what he did was unbelievable. He mentioned Mama Dean’s Soul Food and also he worked with Lisa @ Chartwells. For quite awhile he said and we both agreed as to who she was. It was her that got me fired @ Life Sources and David laughed. I’ll never forget that laugh. Once you meet someone once in your life and you don’t forget them. Rest in Peace my friend and my God in his grace and mercy give you he eternal peace and your family constant comfort and healing. And may the sorrow be turned into joy.
