
Bill Schiffman “Twiggy”, 53, of Lincoln, passed away Friday, April 12, 2019 at the Crawford County Speedway. He was born December 2, 1965 in Paris, AR to Glenn and Shirley Mae Hice Schiffman.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Justin and Bessie Schiffman and Bill and Madell Hice. Also preceded by a stepsister, Melissa Ann Eads.
Bill was employed by the Washington County Road Department. He liked to horseback ride, fish and was an avid race car driver. His favorite thing to do was spend time with his family.
He is survived by his partner in crime and girlfriend, Sherri Pirri; a daughter, Ashley Schiffman of Jonesboro, AR; a son, Josh Asher and wife, Angelia of West Fork; a daughter. Koko Piper and husband, Casey of Lincoln; his parents, Glenn Schiffman and wife, Wanda of Johnson, AR and Shirley Mae Brooks and husband, Jerry of Scranton, AR; 4 brothers, Glenn Butch Herring and wife, Barbara, Marlon Schiffman and wife, Janet, Bobby Brooks and Wesley Steele; 4 sisters, Glenda Cook and husband, Mike, Teresa Hice and husband, Johnny, Carol Hice and husband, Robert and Emma Sisson; 10 grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and many, many friends whom he considered family.
There will be a luncheon at 12:30 PM Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at Liberty 86 Church in Strickler followed by a celebration of life at 2:00 PM at the church.
