Derinda Deaton Creamer, February 2, 1961~December 14, 2025

Dec 16, 2025

Derinda Deaton Creamer passed away Sunday, December 14, 2025 in Fayetteville. Derinda was a devoted wife, mother, Granny, and friend who meant so much to so many. She never met a stranger and was always the first to help when someone was in need. Her kindness, generosity, and love extended far beyond what words can capture.

She lived to serve.

Derinda was a true memory maker. Every holiday, birthday, or special occasion she touched was made special-down to the smallest detail. She had a gift for making people feel seen, valued, and loved in every moment.

She lived to love.

Her wit, laughter, and warmth filled every room she entered. She brought comfort to those who needed it most and joy to everyone fortunate enough to know her.

She lived to spread joy.

Derinda was one of a kind, surrounded by love and cherished memories. Her legacy will live on through the many lives she touched.

She lived to be remembered.

Derinda was preceded in death by her parents, Emzley and Burnadeene Deaton of West Fork, Arkansas; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Ray and Sharon Johnson of Kokomo, Indiana; and her sister, Demarius Deaton of Siloam Springs, Arkansas.

She is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Lance Creamer of Fayetteville, Arkansas; her daughters and sons-in-law: Miranda and Brian Presley of Huntsville, Arkansas; Alicia and Josh Goble of Elkins, Arkansas; Malaysha and Coy Chappell of Elkins, Arkansas; her beloved grandchildren: Lilliann, Jack, Callen, Cameron, Payson, Jett, Brianna, Matthew, Cashton, Lance, and Emmy; her sister and brother-in-law, Drucilla and Dwane Middleton of West Fork, Arkansas; along with nieces, nephews, and extended family.

A celebration of life will be 10:30 AM Saturday, 20, 2025 at Beard’s Funeral Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make someone laugh today and continue to spread joy the way Derinda would have.

My heart aches for your family. She was truly a delight to be around. She loved all of rowdy kids through rough times in life and never once judged us for poor decisions we made, a mom to us all. She was selfless, giving, and wanted to make sure others knew they were loved. She knew what it was like to take care of her village. I got the privilege of getting to know her more in my later years and she has always made me feel welcome. To know her is to love her. She will be missed but please know she touched so many and her memory will always be a constant reminder of the love and joy she shared with everyone. Prayers for you all as you navigate this difficult time

I was blessed to have been neighbors of the Deaton family my growing up years..I was up at their house more than I was my own..They had 2 ponies Goldie and penny that kept us in trouble most of time. Derinda was the youngest so you know she caught a lot from us older ones..May you rest in peace my friend. You were always a kind a nice person.

Thinking of all the family and friends and keeping you all in prayers. I, too, remembered her as the “little sister” of Demarius and Drucilla ! A sweet kind girl, who evidently set a high bar in that department. Remember the special moments and the love you shared, and the examples she set .

Derinda, you treated me like a daughter—you loved me, guided me, and even scolded me when I needed it. You reminded me what family truly means. Thank you for welcoming me into your home, for loving me through my unloveliness, and for showing me what a woman should be. I love you so much.

Derinda was such an amazing woman. Although we had only kept in touch through facebook durning most of my adult life(which is one of my biggest regrets) in my teen years and into my early 20’s she welcomed me into her home and treated me like family. She was stern when we needed straightened out but so loving especially when we needed it most. She was there durning one of the hardest times of my life and those memories I will cherish forever. She was such a classy , strong & beautiful woman with the greatest smile and I will always hold a special place for her in my heart. My prayers and love go out to her family and friends.
