Dilland Sigears Butler, April 5, 1927~November 24, 2019

Dilland Sigears Butler was born April 5th, 1927 to the late Nathan Sigears Sr and Mary Alice Sigears of DeValls Bluff, Arkansas. She departed this life Sunday, November 24th, 2019 in her home.

Dilland was the mother of 18 children.  Preceding in death were her children Edward Lee McDaniel, Armonus McDaniel Jr, Tommy Lee McDaniel, Johnny C McDaniel and Erma Jean McDaniel., and also nine siblings Rubby Cockrell, Lucille Pate, Nathan Sigears Jr, Daniel Sigears, Everlean Rhone, Williemae Sigears, Mary Simons, Cleofus Sigears and Robert Sigears.

Dilland confessed her love in Christ at an early age at the Springfield Baptist Church in Arkansas.  She later joined St. James Baptist Church of Fayetteville Arkansas under the leadership of Pastor Curtiss Smith until her health would no longer allow her to perform in the role.

She was a woman who made many sacrifices for her family.  She always made sure all of her children were taken care of.  Although she didn’t have much, she always had a heart of gold and will be missed greatly.

Solomon Lee of Marianna, Arkansas
Fredrico McDaniel of Fayetteville, Arkansas
Winnie Kay Slatton of Grandview, Missouri
Lenecia McDaniel of Prairie Village, Kansas
Ricky McDaniel of Higginsville, Missouri
She also leaves behind her 32 grandkids, a host of great grandkids, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

The family will receive friends from 4-6 PM Friday, November 29, 2019 at Beard’s Chapel.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, November 30, 2019 at St. James Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Curtiss Smith officiating.  Interment will follow in Oak Cemetery.
