Dolores Faye Carnes, 88, of Fayetteville passed away Friday, June 2, 2017 in Fayetteville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie in 2011 and son, Chuck in 2012.
She is survived by a sister, two children, a grandchild and two great-grandchildren who will cherish her in their memories.
Dolores was born in the majestic mountains of Eastern Kentucky in 1928. She made her home in the beautiful mountains of Northwest Arkansas for many years.
If inclined, memorials may be made to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Butterfield Trail Village Foundation or the Willard Walker Hospice Home.
For many years Dolores and Charlie were good friends to my husband and me. When my husband died, they stood by me during the first difficult year. I will always be grateful for their friendship and the good memories we shared.
