Donald William Brannan, 88 years old, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed to his heavenly home November 19, 2019. He was born February 28, 1931, in Derby, Kansas, to Floyd and Jessie Brannan.
Donald was for many years first and foremost a minister of the Gospel, pastored three churches and assisted in a prison ministry. He was an active member of Living Hope Assembly, Elkins, AR. During his life he worked in furniture manufacturing which included Justus Cabinets, and for a time was owner/operator of D Brannan Trucking.
Donald was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Lois, and his daughter Sarah Metzger of Valley Center, Kansas. He is survived by Sarah’s husband, Virgil of Valley Center, Kansas, Louise and husband, David of Fayetteville, AR, Margaret and husband, Bill of Fayetteville, AR, Dwayne Brannan, of the home, Fayetteville, AR, Dean and wife Tammy Brannan of Elkins, AR, fifteen plus grandchildren and forty plus great and great-great-grandchildren who loved him dearly and all of whom are serving the Lord.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Friday, November 22, 2019 at Beard’s Chapel.
Funeral services will be 10 AM Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Living Hope Assembly Church in Elkins with Pastor David Mashburn and Minister Mitch Goodwin officiating. Interment will follow in Brannon Mountain Cemetery under the direction of Beard’s Chapel.

Have lots of memories of Don when he delivered feed. Always had a smile and never met a stranger. For those who never knew him it was their lost. So glad I was able to call him my friend. Prayers for comfort and peace to family and friends.
