Donna Josephine Van Hoose Hahn, 89, of Fayetteville died on January 4, 2026 at the Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville. She was born May 21, 1936 in Harris, AR. She is the daughter of Pink and Juanita Van Hoose. In her younger years she worked for Singer Sewing Machine Company. She taught young ladies how to sew. Donna J. Hahn was more than my mom, she was my best friend, she was always there for me when I needed to talk. She also was a mom to all of my friends and my brothers’ friends. She would do anything that she could for you. She was the best. I will miss her so very much and she was a huge Razorback fan.

The burial service will be at Hester Cemetery. Our dad’s urn will be placed to rest that day also.

Growing up Donna was my “mom away from mom.” She was super sweet, always fun, and had a loving way to straighten us boy’s out without an actual “scolding.” She was constantly loving and treated her children’s friends like her own children. Definitely a life well lived and an example we should all aspire to.

My heartfelt condolences to all of her family and those of us privileged to know and associate with that sweet, sweet lady.

Sorry I did not get to meet your mom. She must have been a corker from the character of her son Darin, whom I have had the pleasure to work with for the last 20 years. Cling to your memories and each other. Comfort and blessings to each.
