I only worked with Miss Doris for a short time, a little over a year. But, during that year, we became close and I definitely counted her as one of my dear friends. She was there for me when I needed someone to talk to, always. I will miss her dearly. She was loved by many and my thoughts and prayers go out to all of her friends and family.

Les, I am so sorry to hear of Doris’ passing. I have many fond memories going to St. Paul or Crosses with my dad as a kid on the weekends as you guys were building a cabin or working on a quail barn, and my favorite part was seeing Doris. She always had a welcoming smile. May God comfort you in your time of loss.

While never having met Miss Doris face-to-face, I spoke with her often. She was always pleasant, quick to laugh, quick to help, and always a pleasure to deal with. We could stand to have a lot more like her in this world.

I am devastated beyond words….. Lela, Joe, and Les, please accept my condolences, as you already know, everyone Doris came into contact with during her lifetime was changed by the experience of meeting such a loving, warm, and caring person. She will be missed by all and I am sure, as you read this message, her exuberannt laughter that only Doris could emit, is bouncing off the walls of Heaven, as she is greeted with loving arms of all those that have passed before her. She will be incredibly missed indefinitely….
