Dorothy Lorraine Saxton, 99, of Fayetteville, passed away Thursday, November 1, 2018 at her home. She was born September 7, 1919 in McGregor, TX to Dee and Essie Bradshaw Spradley.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Morris B. Saxton; one brother; and three sisters.
Dorothy retired from Campbell Bell.
She is survived by two daughters, Loraine Elder of Houston, TX and Bobbye Sexson and husband, Jim of Fayetteville; a brother, Bryant Spradley and wife, Dinah of Palestine, TX; 5 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and1 great-great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 PM Sunday, November 4, 2018 at Beard’s Chapel.
Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Monday, November 5, 2018 at the First Baptist Church of Elkins with Pastor Rex Griffin officiating.
Interment will follow in Hester Cemetery under the direction of Beard’s Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Willard Walker Hospice Home, 325 E. Longview St, Fayetteville, AR 72703.
