Dr. Richard G. Rea died May 10, 2016. He was born May 5, 1931. He was the son of George Evald and Audrey Beryle Franks Rea.
Richard was a Christian and a teacher for 40 years. He was preceded in death by his wife Susan Graves Rea. He is survived by his daughter, Debbie (Ralph) Johnson of Lamar, AR.; his son, Andy (Katie) Rea of Rogers, AR; also three grandchildren, Nick, Nicole and Jessica Rea.
At Richard’s request, no memorial service will be conducted. He will be cremated with inurnment at the Fayetteville National Cemetery.

Dr Rea was one of my favorite professors in college and we renewed our friendship at the Center for Exercise where, until lately, he was a regular. It is just like him not to have a service of any kind but you should know that I knew him as a decent, kind, man who will be remembered fondly by hundreds of former students.
