Duane Lawson, 65, of Elkins passed away Friday, February 17, 2017 in Fayetteville. He was born December 7, 1951 in Fayetteville to Bent and Irene Toney Lawson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bent and Irene Lawson and sisters, Linda Parrish and Brenda Samuels.
Duane was a member of the Tuttle Church of Christ.
He is survived by his daughter, Jenifer Lewis and husband, Roy; and 3 grandchildren, Corissa Lewis, Colten Lewis and BreAnna Lewis, all of Elkins.
Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, February 20, 2017 at the Tuttle Church of Christ with Craig Richardson and Chaplain Paul Woodhouse officiating. Interment will follow in the Wesley Cemetery under the direction of Beard’s Chapel.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 P.M. on Sunday, February 19, 2017 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help the family with funeral expenses.
