Elizabeth Eleanor Vargo, 100, of Springdale, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2020 in Springdale.  She was born May 5, 1920 in Youngstown, Ohio to George and Ethel Barret Cox.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Peter Vargo.

Elizabeth retired from Baptist Medical Center as a supervisor in the dietician department. She enjoyed cooking and caring for her grandchildren.

She is survived by a son, John Vargo and his wife, Beverly of Springdale; three daughters, Julie Hanson and husband, Robert of Little Rock, Margaret Cunningham of Covina, CA and Patricia Randon of Ashfork, AZ; and several grandchildren.
