Ernest Dean Ball, 74, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday June 30th, 2024. He is preceded in death by his father Paul Leroy Ball, mother Mildred Ola Carter, four sisters,one brother, and his eldest son Andrew Justin Ball.
Ernie is survived by his wife of 48 years, Josephine A. Ball; daughter, Christina Ann Ball, husband (Michael Pentz), son Travis Randall Ball, wife Paxton Ball, brother James Randall Ball, wife(Jaden Ball), sister Martha King, husband(Dee King), 7 grandchildren, and 1 great grandson, many nieces and nephews.
Ernest was born November 3rd, 1949, In Sulphur City, Arkansas. He attended the University of Arkansas, served in the United States Air Force, where as an Intelligence Officer was stationed in Anchorage, Alaska. Afterwards he was stationed in San Antonio, Texas where he met his beloved wife Josephine and started to sell real estate.
Ernest and Josephine went on to have 3 children and settle down in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Ernie enjoyed cooking, fishing, building and his dog Taffy.
Funeral services will be Monday, July 8, 2024, at 2pm, at Beard’s Funeral Chapel. A visitation will be an hour before the service from 1pm-2pm. Interment will immediately follow service at Mount Salem Cemetery.
