Flossie Provence, 94, of Winfrey Valley, AR passed away Sunday, April 7, 2019 in Alma, AR. She was born July 15, 1924 in Health, AR to Albert and Ida Bell Barker Thomas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Glenn Provence; two daughters, Glenda Rose Provence and Helen Sue Reed; and 14 siblings (8 brothers and 6 sisters).
Flossie enjoyed crocheting, gardening and cooking for her family. She loved her family and grandkids dearly.
She is survived by her son, Gerald Provence and wife, Denise of Winfrey Valley; 5 grandchildren, Bryant and Bart Reed, Michelle Reed and Jason and Jeremy Provence; and 5 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at Beard’s Chapel.
Funeral services will be 10 AM Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at the Bidville Community Church with Brother Eugene Provence officiating.
Interment will follow in Bidville Cemetery under the direction of Beard’s Chapel.
