Frances Louise Arney, 83, of Bentonville passed away on October 11, 2014 at the Circle of Life Hospice Home at Legacy Village in Bentonville. She was born October 14, 1930 in Farmington to Elmer Calvin and Mamie Ralston Glenn.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Eugene Arney; daughter, Judy Ann Nida; son, David Eugene Arney; and long-time companion, Donald Thill. She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Dorothy Rosebeary, Wilma Mounce and Barbara Shepherd; and two brothers, John and Alfred Glenn.
She is survived by one son, Ronald Arney and wife Judy Brick-Arney of Rogers; two grandchildren, Robert Nida and wife Tonyalaya of Burleson, TX. and Valerie Thurber and husband Troy of Bentonville; great-grandchildren, Emily, Tommy, Joey and Chloe Nida; and Madison, Ryan, Addison and Avery Thurber; brother, Pete Glenn and wife Imogene; and son-in-law, Bob Nida and wife Marcia of Delaney; as well as numerous lifelong friends.
Funeral services will be at 10 A.M. Friday, October 17, 2014 at Beard’s Funeral Chapel with burial to follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Fayetteville. Visitation will be Thursday, October 16, 2014 from 5:00 P.M. till 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Road, Springdale, AR 72762.
