Frances Louise (Farmer) Dyer, 90, passed away January 8, 2025 at Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville, AR.

She was born March 5, 1934, in Youngstown, Ohio to the late James and Jeannett (Weaver) Farmer.

Her first love was to the Lord Jesus Christ. Her family was the love of her life. She cherished each and every one of them. Being a mother and grandmother was her greatest joy. Louise loved spending time with them all!

She lived a life giving to others. Everyone who knew her knew her love of cooking. Her favorite place was in her kitchen. Over the years she was known for her bread making and desserts. She did missionary work in an orphanage in Guatemala with her son and grandsons. She would cook meals for the volunteer workers. She mastered the art of porcelain doll making which she loved also teaching in her home. Louise loved playing cards and enjoyed gospel music and just being around family and friends.

Besides her parents, Frances was preceded in death by her husband Mason Dyer whom she married and dearly loved on January 1, 1994; a son Robert (Bobby) Kimbel; a brother James Farmer; three sisters, Larue Harshman, Margaret Klinger, and Ella Farmer; a daughter-in-law Linda Kimbel; and a stepdaughter Alicia Brdek and husband George.

She is survived by her three sons, Miles Kimbel Jr and wife Deanna of Summers, AR, John Kimbel and wife Janet of Fayetteville, AR, and Terrance (Terry) Kimbel of Cortland, OH; one sister Ethel Flower of Warren, OH; stepchildren, John Dyer and wife Josephine of Newton Falls, OH, David Dyer and wife Linda of Virginia Beach, VA, Dennis Dyer and wife Edys of Berlin Center, OH, and Susan Cargill and husband Art of Struthers, OH; her beloved grandchildren, Robert Kimbel, Heather Stephens, David Kimbel, Adam Kimbel, Ashley Loghry, Lee Kimbel, Eric Kimbel, and Tyler Kimbel; and several step-grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many extended family and dear friends.

A memorial service for family and close friends will be 6:00-7:00 PM Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at Beard’s Chapel with Pastor Rex Griffin and good friend Dart Henry officiating.

There will be a gathering of family and friends from 5:00-6:00 PM on Tuesday prior to the service at the funeral home.

The family will lay her to rest at a later date with her son Robert (Bobby) in West Farmington, OH.

In lieu of flowers, you may make a donation to the Willard Walker Hospice Home, 325 E Longview St, Fayetteville, AR 72703 in her honor or to a nearby hospice home in your area.

    I have such sweet memories of Louise and often recall her words in our class. Louise loved completely and made all feel welcome in her world. While her family will grieve there is that great day coming when we will be together once more. She is now in the arms of our Savior.
