Frankie Jean Strong, 76, of Fayetteville, passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2019 in Fayetteville.  She was born September 5, 1943 in Delaney, AR to Roy and Ivy Patrick Petitt.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Becky Hopkins Bell.

Frankie retired from the Washington County Tax Office.  She enjoyed music, flowers and spending time with family.

She is survived by her husband, Dwight Strong; three sons, Ricky Hopkins and wife, Jill of Fayetteville, Rocky Hopkins and wife, Patty of Fayetteville and Dwight Strong II and wife, Emily of Fayetteville; a brother, Darrell Petitt of Patrick; two sisters, Sue Davis of Patrick and Louis Wood of Rayville, MO; 8 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at Beard’s Chapel with Pastor Jasper Hankins officiating.

Interment will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery under the direction of Beard’s Chapel.

There is no scheduled visitation.
