
Frieda Joyce King Belote, age 84, passed away in her home in Fayetteville, AR on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 while in hospice care. She was greatly loved by her family.
Frieda is survived by her husband, Troy Belote; 2 children and their spouses: Ronald Belote and wife, Debbie of Fort Smith, AR; Nikki Bradley and husband, Dick, of Fayetteville, AR. Frieda and Troy were blessed with 4 grandchildren: Tara Hickman and husband Matt of Fayetteville, AR; Jeana Belote, currently living in Sofia, Bulgaria; Robert Belote and wife, Leah of Lowell, AR; Eden Bivin and husband, Shane of Springdale, AR. Frieda and Troy happily welcomed 4 great-grandchildren into their lives: Lily & Levi Hickman, Lainey & Tyson Bivin.
Frieda was born on November 17, 1934 in Elkins, AR to the late Homer and Velma Ballard King. She married Troy Nelson Belote on August 15, 1952. They have been married for 66 years and 9 months.
After her children married in the mid-1970s, Frieda went back to college at the University of Arkansas and became a Registered Nurse. She worked at WRMC for 7 years, and then for Charter Vista for 7 years.
Frieda was a life-time member of the Church of Christ and loved her church family. She worshipped with the Mount Comfort Church of Christ in Fayetteville, AR.
Memorial service for Frieda will be Monday, May 13, 2019 at 12:00 PM at Beard’s Funeral Chapel, 855 S. Happy Hollow Road, Fayetteville, AR 72701. Graveside service will be at the Fayetteville National Cemetery, 700 S. Government Ave, Fayetteville, AR 72701.
Memorials may be made to Westark Church of Christ (Bulgaria Mission), 900 N. Waldron Ave, Ft. Smith, AR 72903.

Nikki and David so sorry to hear about your mom. Have great memories of going to your house on Sunday’s after church for lunch as teenagers. Will be in my prayers.
