Gerald Dean Gilbert, 62, of Cameron, OK passed away Friday, November 29, 2013 at his home. He was born January 6, 1951 in Huntsville, AR the son of Melvin Junior and Ruby Ilene McChristian Gilbert.
He was preceded in death by his father, wife, Kathy LaVerne Gilbert and sister, Melva June Leichner.
Gerald Dean is survived by his mother, Ruby I. Gilbert of Hogeye, AR; daughter, Deann Gray and husband, Gary of Fayetteville; 2~grandchildren, Dylan Gray and Anne Eliot Gray both of Fayetteille, AR; 1~great-grandson, Aiden Gray of Fayetteville and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside Services will be at 10:00 AM Thursday at Mineral Springs Cemetery in West Fork with Rev. Glen Faulkner officiating.
Visitation will be from 5~7 PM Wednesday at Beard’s Funeral Chapel in Fayetteville.
Memorials may be made to Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville.

I will miss you Dean, from our day’s of being kids on the farm, fishing ponds, hauling hay and attending Arkansas football games for $2.00 a ticket. Some of my most fondest memories was with you and Kathy the love of your life! One thing for sure, I will alway’s carry you in my heart as one of the best friends a cousin could ever grow up with. You will be missed by all your friends and family and your childhood buddy….goodby my friend we love you!
