Gerald “Jerry” Neville, 88, of Springdale, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on May 31, 2026. He was born May 27, 1938.
Jerry proudly served his country as a U.S. Navy Corpsman and was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, businessman, and friend. In July 1989, he purchased a small time clock company, Illinois Time Recorder. Through hard work, dedication, and a commitment to serving his customers, he helped grow the business into a successful company that continues to thrive today.
He is survived by his loving wife, Judy; his sons, Timothy Neville and wife Laura of New Lenox, Illinois, Michael Neville and wife Jenny of Springdale, Arkansas, and Patrick Neville and wife Anne of Yorkville, Illinois; seven grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Jerry was a longtime Rotarian who believed in Service Above Self and valued friendship, family, and community. He was an avid golfer who proudly recorded two holes-in-one during his lifetime and was a lifelong Chicago Bears fan. In retirement, he enjoyed cruising in his beloved red 1972 Mustang convertible, a car that brought him great pride and joy. He also loved telling stories, especially about the time he caught two fish on one hook during an offshore fishing trip.
Jerry will be remembered for his sense of humor, his strong work ethic, his love for his family, and the many lives he touched throughout his 88 years.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation or the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Jerry will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him. Though he has departed this life, his legacy of love, service, hard work, and family will endure.
A celebration of life will be 10:30 AM Monday, June 8, 2026 at Beard’s Chapel with Randall Galloway officiating. Inurnment will follow at the Fayetteville National Cemetery with military honors.

I only met Jerry a few times fishing at Red Lake, Ontario. But you only needed to meet him once to know what a great guy he was.
I never knew he was a fellow Navy veteran.
As us Navy vets say, “USN, man’s best friend”.
I had the utmost respect and admiration for Jerry. He lived life to the fullest and I will always remember his generosity and tremendous sense of humor. Sincerest condolences to the Neville family – He will be missed.
Jerry has been a valued partner with Telecor for over 19 years, and was loyal to our brand and faithful to his clients. Reading thru his obituary you see another side of the business man, the family man who was revered and well loved. We are saddened by his passing and wish all his family and friends peace.
