On Wednesday, October 16, 2019, Glen Drain, passed away at the age of 72. Glen was born on July 2, 1947 in Fayetteville, AR to Dewell (Dood) Drain and Irene Vanlandingham Drain.
Glen served his country in the Vietnam War, earning the Bronze Star. He was a loving father, an accomplished archer, carpenter, and mechanic, and had a passion for photography, and exploring the Arkansas outdoors.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and his son, Billy Drain. He is survived by his daughter, Becky Drain Schroeder, his siblings, Joyce Thompson, Leon Drain, Nancy Hafliger, and many family and friends.
Visitation hours from 5-7 PM Sunday, October 27, 2019 at Beard’s Funeral Chapel, 855 S. Happy Hollow Road, Fayetteville, AR 72701.
Graveside services at 2 PM Monday, October 28, 2019 at Pinnacle Cemetery in Madison County.

Your Dad loved you and was proud of you. He was a kind person. I still remember how hard he worked to dig a hole in the frozen earth to bury our wonderful cat Kiddle who had died during the coldest weather of the year.
