
Harley Allen Johnson, 78, of Fayetteville, went to his heavenly home on Monday, October 1, 2018 in Fayetteville. He was born on September 2, 1940 in Greenland, AR to Paul and Velma Terry Johnson.
He is preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers, Houston, Danny Joe and Jerry; and one daughter, Pam Sherry.
Harley was a hard-working man his whole life. He loved to hunt, fish and travel, but most of all, he loved his family.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Annie; son, Tod (Shelly) Johnson; daughter, Mandy (Jimmy) Peoples; son-in-law, Wade Sherry; 2 brothers, Paul Jr. (Patsy) Johnson and Eddie (Linda) Johnson; 2 sisters, Sharon Land and Connie Taylor; sister-in-law, Janice Johnson; grandchildren, Ruthy (Ben) Smith, Cameron Peoples, Addi Dobbs, Cassie Watkins, Jody (Todd) Russell, Corby (Georgianna) Sherry, Trent and Brentley Johnson; great-grandchildren include “little punkin” Carter, Jayla, Michael, Austin, Preston, Coleman, Benton, Garrett and Cannon; a sister-in-law, Jackie Barrett; and father-in-law, Elmer Omohundro. Harley had countless other family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at 4:00 P.M. Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Beard’s Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Willard Walker Hospice Home, 325 E. Longview St, Fayetteville, AR 72703.
