HELEN LIVED IN OUR NEIGHBORHOOD IN FAYETTEVILLE. WE BECAME ACQUAINTED VISITING WITH JOHN AS HE WALKED HIS DOG BY OUR HOME. SOON WE DISCOVERED MY HUSBAND AND JOHN BOTH VOLUNTEERED AT THE VA. HELEN INVITED US FOR SOME GOODIES SHE HAD BAKED. WE ATTENDED JOHN’S SERVICE. AFTER HELEN MOVED WE VISITED BY PHONE. I KNOW SHE WAS SO HAPPY TO HAVE HER OWN PLACE AND EVERYTHING NEW. WHEN WE DRIVE BY HER OLD HOME THERE ARE ALWAYS HAPPY MEMORIES OF OUR TIME WITH THE TWO OF THEM TOGETHER AGAIN.
