Herman G. Henson, 84, of Winslow passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at his home.  He was born October 22, 1927 in Winslow the son of Theron and Annie Parrish Henson. He served in the United States Army, member of Winfrey Valley Tabernacle.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dora Henson.

Survivors include his 5~children, Carolyn Sue Branson and Linda Kay Biswell and husband Roy all of Winslow, Garland Henson and wife, Glenda and Harlan Henson and wife, Pam of Fayetteville and Patricia Qualls and husband, Alan of Huntsville; 2~brothers, Ervin Henson and Farrell Henson both of Winslow; 4~sisters, Opal Hobbs of Shawnee, OK, Colene Fritchey of Liberty, MO, Retha Jones of Cedarville, AR and Virgie White of Fayetteville; 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 4~great~great~grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Friday, February 24, 2012 at Highland Park Assembly of God in Fayetteville with Reverend’s Roy Biswell and Brad Redding officiating. Burial will be at 12:45 PM at Pense~Reed Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5~7 PM Thursday at Beard’s Funeral Chapel.
