I spent some time with Hilde, Wolfgang and Karin many years ago. Hilda left an ineligible impression on me. Such a wonderful lady and wow what a great cook which definitely was passed on to her daughter Karin. Such a generous, independent, and resilient mother. Rest in peace, Hilde.

We live across the street from Hilde. From the beginning she was an amazing woman whom I enjoyed visiting with on warm summer evenings. She would share her crops with us; she taught me how to make pickles fresh from her garden. She gave me some of Petra’s yarn. Thank you for the warm and fond memories that I will always have of our lovely neighbor, Hilde. It won’t be the same without her. Beth and Wyn
